Join us for a Highland calf meet and greet session!
We are so excited to welcome you to Waymaker Farms, where we offer a unique and memorable experience with our adorable Highland calf, Barley. During your visit, you will have a private session with Barley in our Barn. you can pet, brush, feed and take pictures with him. We recommend wearing boots or shoes that can get dirty and please dress for the weather.
Pricing for Highland Calf meet and greet:
30 minute session with 1-5 guests is $75
each additional guest is $15.
A $25 non refundable deposit is due at booking.

We periodically add sessions. I am booking two weeks out at a time. Barley is our only baby cow so we have to take this at a slow pace. We are a working farm balancing cow visits along with other farm responsibilities. I will drop new dates on Sundays.
Can I bring a pet?
No, unfortunately pets are not allowed.
Is it $75 if there are only 2 people in my group? Does everyone need a ticket?
Yes, all sessions are private for your group wether it is 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 people. it is an additional $15 for person 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. Everyone who exits the car must have a ticket, including infants.
Is it rain or shine? ( or snow) What should I wear?
Yes! Farm life happens in all sorts of weather and visits are in the barn. Keep in mind that the barn is NOT heated and you may encounter mud from the parking area to the barn. Dress for the weather and wear shoes that can get dirty.
Is there a waiver?
Yes, all participants will need to sign a waiver and will receive a wrist band. Please arrive 5 minutes early to fill out the waiver.
What happens if I am late?
We will do our best to get you as much time with our baby cow but most sessions run back to back.
How do I pay my balance?
You can pay with card, cash or Venmo at the farm.
What if I need to cancel?
You should get a confirmation email at booking. There is an option to cancel on that email. Please understand that no-shows and cancellations will not be refunded their deposits.
Is there a smoking area?
Waymaker Farms does not allow smoking on the property.
Where are you located?
1483 THE Spangler Road, New Oxford 17350. You really need to put “the” in the gps address. Sometimes the GPS says “arrived” at our Hay field and not the Barn. When turning off of 94 onto Dick’s Dam Road you will go straight until you come to a curve in the road. You will turn left onto The Spangler road at the curve. Our barn will be on your right side right after a grey outbuilding.
